About the EverNU™ Mattress Top
Simmons' new EverNU™ mattress top is poised to revolutionize how hotels view bedding products. The zip-off top, which is available on all Beautyrest Black™ mattresses and select Beautyrest® models, allows hotels to refresh their guests' sleep experiences by replacing a mattress' top upholstery layers.
The EverNU™ top is designed to help hotels:
- Maintain the original comfort of a bed for the life of the mattress
- Extend the lives of hotel beds so they do not need to be replaced as often
- Quickly and easily upgrade beds to plusher models
- Customize the feel of a mattress for a guest
- Reduce the number of hotel mattresses that are discarded annually
Simmons developed the EverNU™ mattress top to help hotels get the most use out of their mattresses. The average hotel currently replaces its mattresses every seven years. Most of these replacements occur because the mattresses' comfort layers have compressed over time, causing the beds to lose their original feel. The EverNU™ top enables a hotel to replace the comfort layers of its mattresses without replacing the beds' Pocketed Coil® or Advanced Pocketed Coil™ springs, which last far longer than the fabrics and foams used in the comfort layers.
The EverNU™ top lets hotels keep their mattresses for up to 12 years—properties just need to replace their EverNU™ tops to restore their beds' original comfort. And because hotels can replace the mattress top instead of the entire mattress, beds with the EverNU™ top actually cost less per night of use than traditional mattresses.
Additionally, hotels can use EverNU™ tops to customize the feel of a mattress for a guest or to upgrade their beds to plusher models without purchasing new mattress sets. And since hotels that use EverNU™ tops may be able to replace their mattresses less frequently, EverNU™ mattress tops may help hotels reduce the number of mattresses that are deposited into already over-flowing landfills.
